Hello, I’m Emma and I love to photograph people, love, joy and connection. This is my face taken by my husband, on our amazing honeymoon cruising down the west coast of California. He is pretty good with a camera too but prefers to ride bikes in the mud. He's my favourite big human. My favourite little human is our tiny one - Matilda.

I LOVE my job. When I photograph weddings I aim to tell the true story of your day and how you remember it feeling. For me, capturing the emotion and atmosphere of the day is key to making memorable images. I work quickly and quietly - you will probably forget I am there for the most part.

I genuinely love weddings, they are a microcosm of all the great things about being a human. Connection, ceremony, being with your tribe, expressing yourself, dressing up, getting down, laughing so hard you spit your drink out (I could list things here forever.) I feel so lucky that I get to be in this bubble with you and capture it forever. My favourite compliments are when guests ask me ‘so how do you know the couple?’ as I come across as an old family friend. This is because I take time to get to know you both, so I totally get what makes the two of you tick. I have a way of showing people at their most relaxed, beautiful and happy. I have gained these ‘special powers’ through nothing more than massive amounts of practice and honing my skills.

I love nothing more than when my couples say ‘the photos are so us’. That’s my main aim – to tell the real story of your wedding day, but more than that is to show what makes you ‘you’ and your wedding day just yours. This is what my past clients have said.
